On Sunday Dr. Rodney Stark, distinguished Professor of Sociology at Baylor University and author of the “Victory of Reason,” “The Rise of Christianity,” and “God’s Battalions,” was asked by Breitbart News Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon to compare Christianity with radical Islam.
(CNSNews.com) – Democrats in the Colorado state Senate abandoned a NARAL-supported bill that would have banned “interference with an individual’s reproductive health care decisions” after Denver Archbishop Samuel Aquila led a rally of more than a thousand pro-life activists on the steps of the statehouse Tuesday.
California’s Obamacare exchange Covered California is paying Planned Parenthood employees for each person that they enroll in Obamacare.
“Certified Enrollment Entities are paid a flat-fee of $58 per successful application and $25 per successful annual renewal. The Enrollment Entities compensate the individual Enrollment Counselors,” according to California Health Benefit Advisers.

Obama admin pushing new regulations to allow unions to bully workers before union ‘ambush elections’
By The Right Scoop
This new rule change will force companies to hand over the phone numbers and home addresses of workers to union bosses, which will obviously be used to bully workers into voting to unionize:
A former Democratic lawyer and pre-eminent expert on political advocacy and election law has a lot to say about the IRS scandal in this Daily Caller interview.
“This is a sea change! People need to understand — this has never happened before in my lifetime and I don’t think anybody’s lifetime, where you have the president of the United States, elected members of Congress calling on the IRS to silence their political opponents, and having the IRS management and top brass doing what the politicians wanted them to do, and essentially taking sides in a philosophical and political debate between conservatives and liberals,” said Cleta Mitchell, a partner at Foley & Lardner.
Sharyl Attkisson, the investigative reporter who resigned from CBS News and said the network clamped down on stories critical of the Obama administration, on Sunday said Media Matters targeted her and may have been paid to do so.
In order to satisfy this generation’s anti-Semites, Israel must meet standards that no other country in the world has ever met or ever will. At the United Nations Israel is condemned more often than all other countries combined.
It is, of course, an imperfect democracy, like Canada and all other free countries, and its human rights record could certainly be improved. But its treatment of Palestinians has never been even remotely comparable to China’s oppression of Tibetans or Saudi Arabia’s treatment of women, two among many outrageous practices that apparently never trouble the students who direct their anger at Israel.

The thing that needs to be said in respect of the rebellion that has gathered at the ranch of Cliven Bundy is that it is as American as apple pie. At the rate things are going the Nevada ranchers are going to write themselves into American history right alongside Daniel Shays and the Pennsylvania backwoodsmen who confronted the federal government over taxes on whiskey. The echoes are uncanny — complete with the sanctimonious lectures from the federal government over the law and the righteousness of the anger of the rebels.
Winter is Coming. And, Boy How We’re Going to Wish we Still had that Luxury Global Warming ‘Problem’!
by James Delingpole
Of all the many absurdities of the great climate change non-crisis which has been pointlessly obsessing our planet this last three or four decades, surely the most egregious is the way it has ignored one basic fact: global warming is good.
No really, it is. As a few bold heretics – such as Australian geologist Ian Plimer in his book Heaven And Earth – have long been trying to tell anyone prepared to listen, the human species is designed for warmth not cold. Ice ages are something we should naturally fear; warming periods are something which for which we should yearn. All the historical evidence confirms this – that periods of warming (such as the Minoan, Roman and Medieval Warming Periods) have spurred cultural efflorescence and economic growth, while cooling periods have tended towards pestilence, famine, misery and stagnation. When you think about it, it’s pretty obvious: in warmer times it’s easier to grow crops, which means that a) fewer people starve and b) instead of struggling to survive, people have time to get on with developing art, literature, trade, civilisation generally…
Now for the bad news. During the last 50 or so years, we have lived through perhaps the most beneficent warming periods the world has known. Now the good times are over. And just round the corner – climatically speaking at any rate – are some very bad times indeed.

varies over cycles that range up to 1,500 years long. The cycle we can see with our own eyes, in our own lifetimes, is the sunspot cycle that is normally eleven years long.
A decade ago there was a wide range of predictions from the solar physics community about how strong the current cycle, No 24, would be. One list of 45 predictions ranged from a sunspot number of 50 at the low end to 190 at the high end. Strangely, the climate science community at the time had no interest in what the Sun might do.
The predictions at the low end were correct. It has become established—for those who are willing to look at the evidence—that climate will very closely follow our colder Sun. Climate is no longer a mystery to us. We can predict forward up to two solar cycles, that is about twenty-two years into the future. When models of solar activity are further refined, we may be able to predict climate forward beyond a hundred years.

Private Thomas Dudley, of the 17th Lancers, said: “When we received the order, not a man could seem to believe it … Not a word or a whisper. On – on we went! Oh! If you could have seen the faces of that doomed 800 men at that moment; every man’s features fixed, his teeth clenched, and as rigid as death, still it was on – on!”
He added: “Clash! And oh God! What a scene! I will not attempt to tell you, as I know it is not to your taste, what we did; but we were Englishmen, and that is enough. I believe I was as strong as six men – at least I felt so; for I know I had chopped two Russian lances in two as if they had been reeds.”
Private Thomas Williams, from the 11th Hussars, told his parents: “I could see what would be the result of it, and so could all of us; but of course, as we had got the order, it was our duty to obey. I do not wish to boast too much; but I can safely say that there was not a man in the Light Brigade that day but what did his duty to his Queen and Country.”

Media outlets are largely ignoring the religious side of holidays such as Easter and Christmas, says Media Research Center President Brent Bozell.
Bozell’s organization looked at media coverage of Easter over the three-year period and found that 89 percent of stories dealt with the secular side of holiday, including Easter egg hunts.
Thomas Piketty may not be a household name in this country (yet), but the French economist who is updating Karl Marx has quite a following at the White House and among thought leaders of the Democratic Party. Thomas Hubert of France24 explains:
It seems that Christians can’t celebrate their holiest day of the year — Easter, the day that defines Christianity — without atheists butting in to announce their presence.
When the Concerned Women for America put up a display in the Wisconsin capitol honoring the day, the Freedom from Religion Foundation erected its counter-message in the form of a large banner. It proclaimed, “Nobody died for our sins” and “Jesus Christ is a myth,” according to The Washington Times.
Depending upon your beliefs, the former can be argued. The latter, however, is an outright fabrication. Jesus Christ is an historical figure.
The foundation’s co-president, Annie Laurie Gaylor, issued a written statement.
This excellent report from Reason TV on the Gibson Guitar raid by DHS and the Fish and Wildlife Department explains a lot about the bureaucratic overreach involved.
Another Muslim convert “misunderstanding” the literal word of the quran as millions of others jihadists “misunderstand” Islam. That’s story according to the Obama administration tools and apologists.
Hamas-CAIR is writing its press release now blaming …… islamophobia.
The bottom line is that Mohammed fired a gun at as many as 20 motorists on major roads and highways. Three people were shot.
Our government is utterly lawless. Our representative republic is gone. These people no longer serve the interests of the American people, they serve their own elite interests, and the citizens of the United States have become tax cattle to be managed, milked, and controlled. And the security state they have erected is not designed to protect US, it is designed to protect THEM.

The number of Christians in Communist China is growing so steadily that it by 2030 it could have more churchgoers than America
In the West, the Arabization of Muslim communities has occurred with government assistance, which, through imposed policies of multiculturalism in the name of diversity, has effected the destruction of South Asian culture.
Sarah Mbuyi says she was dismissed due to religious discrimination, having also been accused of “harassing” a lesbian colleague to whom she gave a Bible when she was recovering from an accident.
The case, lodged at an employment tribunal, comes amid growing concerns among some Christians that religious beliefs are being “outlawed” in the workplace.

When he announced last week that the CBC would be laying off 650 employees (about 8% of its 8,000-person workforce) and giving up on professional sports, Mother Corp president Hubert Lacroix said the state broadcaster would henceforth be “doing fewer things better.”
Lacroix added that the $1-billion, tax-funded, propaganda arm of the lib-left establishment would begin a “process of reinventing” itself in a “media landscape [that] is transforming at an astounding speed.”
That assumes the CBC understands how to reinvent itself.
To begin with, the CBC has to get over three myths it constantly tells itself.

This story comes to us courtesy of The Right Scoop. (Which makes sense since I don’t watch any of the cable news evening lineup and haven’t seen Chris Hayes on the small screen in ages.) While people gathered at Cliven Bundy’s ranch in protest of the BLM’s handling of affairs there, the protesters were joined by Nevada Assemblywoman Michele Fiore. This prompted MSNBC host Hayes to interview her, and the Scoop captures the video for us.
Let’s just say that Fiore wasn’t about to have the conversation steered to any Left side talking points.

No one can say that Obama isn’t focusing on what’s important. Forget Ukraine. The real action is in the Czech Republic.
The project—Muslims in the Eyes of Czech Schoolchildren—is being spearheaded by a Muslim advocacy group and is being financed by American taxpayers through a grant from the US Embassy in Prague.
Both in the Islamic world and in the West, Islamic supremacist groups are determined to stamp out every critical word about Islam and jihad terror, so as to clear away all obstacles to the advancing jihad.
The UN is trying to scare us into believing we have only 15 years left. It looks ridiculous doing so, considering all the similar declarations that have come and gone.
A brief history of “climate tipping point” declarations discloses that the only scary hot air comes from warmist blowhards. Marc Morano at Climate Depot debunks the fake hysteria being generated to jjstify a massive tax and power grab:
Girls were ordered to sit at the back of classes and Christian pupils left to ‘teach themselves’ at state schools
The girls are often assaulted, raped, kidnapped, forced to change their faith and sometimes killed, the ICC said.Making matter worse, nothing is being done by local authorities to prevent it in provinces across Egypt, according to officials from both the ICC and the Clarion Project, a US-based non-profit think tank and advocacy group.
Speaking with Breitbart News, Nigerian-American attorney and human rights activist Emmanuel Ogebe explained that the early second wave of Boko Haram attacks appeared targeted towards men. In 2012, he notes, human rights observers “detected that they were actually going and marking up the homes of Christians with graffiti, coming back at night, and killing the men.” After some time, Christian men caught on to the situation and began sleeping outside of their homes at night, leaving Boko Haram members to ambush homes with only women inside, who they could not kill by fatwa. Being a fluid and “resilient” group, the inability to kill men as swiftly as before appears to have triggered a campaign against Nigerian women and a shift in strategy.

Today’s Guest : Martin Armstrong
Topic : Cycles expert and forecasting extraordinaire, Martin Armstrong, is on todays show to first explain the fundamentals of cycle analysis and then extrapolates these principles to discuss the unmistakable convergence and climax of cycles in civil unrest, international war, economic decline, and political revolution that is upon us now. Armstrong is the former chairman of Princeton Economics International Ltd. and is best known for his economic predictions based on his proprietary Economic Confidence Model.
The Onufers stand as a living rebuke to this argument. Not one of us can ever know the life that a child will have, no matter the circumstances into which he or she is born.

After 17 years in political office, I am familiar with many of the tactics political bullies employ.
One of the most commonplace — and effective — is disruption. I’m not sure when this began, but I do know that both the Communists and the Nazis used it to good advantage, and that it then moved onto the scene here in America in the last half of the 20th century.
The methodology is quite simple. Simply go into a meeting, an on-line discussion, a classroom or whatnot and make yelling speeches out of turn, ask strident and abusive questions, call people names and take over the place. Stop other people from talking by shouting them down.
The so-called “new atheists” employ this tactic constantly in on-line spaces where Christians gather.
