Dion omits Stephen Harper from his speech, called his policy “ not the Canadian way”

The Foreign Minister, Stéphane Dion, took advantage of his speech at Ottawa Forum 2016 on January 28 on the foundations of the Canada’s foreign policy, to attack the former Prime Minister Stephen Harper for espousing a foreign policy that does not go in line with the Canadian values.

Dion intentionally abstained from mentioning of Stephen Harper when he hailed be name the former Prime Ministers of Canada for their achievements in the international scene.

In addition, Dion blamed Harper of isolating Canada internationally because of his “unilateral approach” that does not reflect the Canadian way and values.
